I love the nostalgia, imperfection and authenticity of 35mm film. There is something about the way film captures light, colour and atmosphere that feels beautifully timeless and completely different to digital photography.

I am a big fan of film for personal reasons too. It takes me back to growing up when film cameras were the norm rather than the exception, and there is still something wonderfully exciting about not knowing exactly what you have captured until the film comes back from the lab. Waiting to see film photographs feels like having a gift waiting to be unwrapped.

For couples who love the look of analogue photography, I offer 35mm film alongside my digital wedding photography. Think soft grain, gorgeous colour, beautiful skin tones and those little imperfections that make each frame feel wonderfully real.

Film is never a replacement for digital. I still photograph your wedding primarily on digital cameras so you can have a complete, beautifully documented wedding gallery without worrying about anything being missed. 35mm film is an added layer of nostalgia and creativity, giving you a handful of photographs with that unmistakable analogue feel.

Your film is personally dropped off at the lab by me, removing the risk of sending your precious negatives through the post. Once developed, your photographs are professionally scanned and delivered as high resolution digital files, ready to enjoy alongside the rest of your wedding gallery.

35mm film is included in all of my full day collections. You can choose between colour or black and white 35mm film, depending on the feel you love most.
