Bourton Hall // Andrew & Sam
Andrew & Sam’s black tie wedding at Bourton Hall
Andrew and Sam’s wedding at Bourton Hall was just brilliant. From the moment I arrived, the day was full of laughter, excitement and so much joy.
Bourton Hall is stunning, with its sweeping staircase, light filled rooms, and gardens that stretch as far as the eye can see. It’s grand without ever feeling formal, and it was the perfect canvas for Andrew and Sam to have their day exactly as they wanted it.
The morning was relaxed and rather untraditional which I absolutely loved. Andrew and Sam got ready together. They helped one another get dressed and enjoyed a few drinks with their groomsmen. Before the ceremony, they wandered the grounds and said hello to their guests. It was such a calm way to start the day.
Andrew and Sam also walked one another down the aisle which was lovely. After a beautiful ceremony, came the confetti! The blue looked perfect in the photos.
After a delicious meal and some seriously hilarious speeches, the grooms did their first dance by Bourton Hall’s famous staircase. Surrounded by their loved ones, they danced under a flurry of confetti. It was such a special moment and I love how their friends and family gathered on the stairs to watch their dance.
The evening reached a new level of excitement when The Drag With No Name appeared. Sparkling, theatrical and high energy, the performance had everyone on the dance floor. It was impossible not to get swept up in the fun.
Photographing Andrew and Sam’s wedding was so much fun from start to finish and I’d quite happily do it all over again.
